5-Band Graphic/1-Band Parametric Equalizer/Crossover

8-Band Graphic Equalizer (7-Band Equalizer & 1-Band Subwoofer Control)

The equalizer is the component that
allows you to make adjustments to sound
frequencies according to your preference.
The 21010 and 21000 equalizers give you
that precise control, with additional
features that add to the flexibility of your
sound system. Use the auxiliary input
and volume control to add an audio
component, such as a portable MP3
player or satellite radio, to your system.
Sonic Adjustment Defined
Graphic Equalizer
A graphic equalizer uses a number of
adjustment knobs, each set at a certain
frequency in the audio spectrum. Adjusting the
knob increases or decreases the volume of
sound at that frequency, allowing you to
compensate for sound system inefficiencies.
Parametric Equalizer
A parametric equalizer operates on the same
principle as a graphic equalizer, except that you
can specify which frequency you want to adjust,
then increase or decrease the volume at that
frequency. Parametric equalizers are used for
critical system adjustments, or specific
adjustments within a set frequency range, such
as the low (subwoofer) frequencies.
Crossover (21010)
A crossover “separates” the sound frequencies
into different channels, then sends each channel
to a different set of speakers based on the ability
of the speaker to reproduce that frequency.
A high-pass crossover separates the high
frequencies from the low at a designated value,
then sends the high signal to an amplifier that
drives speakers optimized to reproduce high
sounds (midranges and tweeters). Conversely, a
low-pass crossover works in the same manner
to send low frequencies to an amplifier that
drives low-frequency speakers (subwoofers).
System Features — 21010
• A five-band graphic equalizer allows you to
adjust frequencies to your preference.
• A single-band parametric equalizer
(25 ~ 100Hz) gives you precise control over
subwoofer adjustments.
• Low-pass and high-pass crossovers switch
between two frequency settings to provide
signals for separate subwoofer and
midrange/treble amplification.
• Connect an auxiliary device and control
its use with a front-panel selector switch.
• Corrosion-resistant gold-plated audio
connectors deliver the highest-quality audio
signal to the amplifier.
System Features — 21000
• Eight preset equalizer bands allow you to
adjust frequencies to your preference.
Common Features
• Input volume controls enable adjustment of
sound levels to eliminate system noise.
• A rotary volume knob and defeat switch
control the master volume for all outputs.
• A front/rear fader adjusts sound distribution
for front or rear passengers.
• Adjustment knobs push in to recess into the
face when not in use.
• The 1/2-DIN size allows multiple installation
options.
• Smart subwoofer control provides a
separate, controlled output ideal for adding a
subwoofer to the system.
• Adjustable turn-on delay (0~4-second) to
match with various system requirements.
