30-Band 1/3 Octave Competition Equalizer

ECLIPSE introduces a fully professional

30-band equalizer that sets a new

reference in optimizing a vehicle’s

acoustic environment to achieve perfect

sound. This 30-band 1/3 octave equalizer

offers precise tonal contouring from 25Hz

all the way to 20kHz, covering the full

frequency spectrum. In contrast to a

simpler graphic equalizer that is more

often used to tailor sound to personal

preferences, the 1/3 octave equalizer is

the most effective tool for fine-tailoring a

vehicle’s sound system to produce the

most accurate and pleasing sound with

the smooth band-to-band frequency

transitions that define competition-

winning sound.

30-Band 1/3 Octave Equalization

The EQ2102 Competition Equalizer is a

professional quality instrument for precision

tonal adjustment as fine as a fraction of a dB. It

is a stereo unit with a single set of 30 EQ

control knobs, each simultaneously controlling

that center frequency on both channels,

eliminating the need to closely match 1 knob or

slider with its equivalent in the other channel.

Having 30 different bands keeps the Q high to

reduce any interaction between frequencies.

Built to meet pro demands using premium

components and sophisticated circuitry, this

flexible equalizer makes all the difference

between a good-sounding system and one that

is superlative.

Competition-Ready

Providing the level of sound quality

performance crucial for sound-offs, precise

adjustment of 30 frequencies in combination

with Real Time Analyzer (RTA) test equipment

and pink noise (at your ECLIPSE installer) will

performance also makes it possible to enjoy the

Dedicated Subwoofer Circuit

Along with its controls for 30 different

frequencies, the EQ2102 incorporates a built-in

crossover at 100Hz and dedicated summed

channel subwoofer line output for creating a

monster subwoofer system. This eliminates the

need for the system’s main and satellite

speakers to handle prodigious bass frequencies

and so increases overall system gain and

dynamic range along with less distortion.
